On-device document summaries
A shorter route through a long family letter.
On supported iPhones, Little Ledger uses Apple Intelligence to turn readable document text into a plain-English summary and careful filing suggestions — on device.
On-device summary
The letter confirms a routine follow-up and asks the family to bring the current care plan. No treatment change is recorded.

What happens on your iPhone
Useful help, with clear boundaries.
The system model works from text Little Ledger has already extracted. It does not replace the original document or your judgement.
First, Little Ledger reads the scan
On-device OCR extracts readable text. Short or unclear documents can still be filed, but Little Ledger will not force an unhelpful summary.
Apple Intelligence creates a structured suggestion
Where supported, the on-device model can produce a short summary and suggest a title, tags, child and filing category using facts present in the document.
One possible follow-up, only when the date is clear
A review date or scheduled appointment can become a suggested reminder or calendar event. You choose whether to add it.
You review before saving
Suggested fields remain visible and editable. Little Ledger does not silently create medical actions or change a child’s records.
If the model is unavailable, the document still works
Scanning, filing, OCR search and the original file remain available when the device, OS, language, region or model is not eligible.
Compatibility
Not every iPhone will show this feature.
On-device summaries require iOS 26, a supported Apple Intelligence device, a supported language and region, and Apple Intelligence enabled and ready.
