Where are my family records stored?
Little Ledger stores records locally on your iPhone by default. If you choose an export, Apple integration or supported sync option, the information needed for that action goes to the destination you selected.

Can I scan school, nursery and health documents?
Yes. You can scan with the camera or import PDFs and images from Files and Photos, then add a child, category, date, tags and notes.
Can Little Ledger search inside a scan?
Yes. On-device text recognition can extract readable text from scans and imported documents so you can find the record by its contents later.
How do the on-device AI summaries work?
On supported Apple Intelligence devices running iOS 26, Little Ledger can create a plain-English summary and suggest filing details from readable document text. You review every suggestion, and saving still works when Apple Intelligence is unavailable.
Can I track a child’s medicines?
Yes. Little Ledger supports medicine details, schedules, as-needed doses, dose history, supply levels and optional dose or low-stock alerts.
Can I save milestones and growth measurements?
Yes. Save firsts, family moments, school wins and health milestones with optional photos. You can also log weight, height or length and head circumference, then view progress over time.
Can I use Little Ledger for more than one child?
Yes. Each child has a profile, and the family agenda can bring upcoming reminders, appointments and medicine times together across the whole family.
Can I protect the app with Face ID?
Yes. You can enable an app lock using Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode where available.
Can I back up and restore my records?
Yes. Little Ledger can export a complete backup containing profiles, records and saved files, then restore that backup into an empty installation.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. You can begin with five saved items shared across documents, notes, reminders, medicines and memories. Premium removes that shared limit.
